This is my very first tattoo, I got it done two days after my 18th birthday. Since I was self aware I have loved video games, especially the Mario series. I was inspired by this pin up of Princess Peach, but decided on a 1-UP mushroom instead to compliment my hair color. The tattoo was done by Autumn Tierney of Riverside Tattoo in Brewer, Maine. She designed the wings herself, and had the most elegant and gentle touch for a tattoo artist. The tattoo took 3.5 hours, but it barely hurt at all (I actually sat there the whole time and played video games). I am so extremely happy with the finished product, and I love how much of my back it takes up. I would absolutely recommend Autumn for anyone in the greater Bangor area who wants to get a tattoo done. I will definitely be back to Riverside ASAP!
